EUB Teaching and Learning Centre
Welcome to the EUB Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC). The TLC mission is to enhance the quality of the delivery of academic programmes. The TLC creates a supportive environment for both faculty and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence in teaching and learning. The TLC offers a range of staff development opportunities as well as supporting students in their development of academic skills and graduate attributes.

Supporting Academic Faculty
The TLC offers a variety of staff development opportunities, including workshops, seminars, and personalized post-observation support. These initiatives are designed to enhance teaching skills and integrate innovative methods into academic sessions. We also encourage and support faculty in conducting research on teaching practices to further elevate educational standards.
Teaching and Learning Resources
Our bank of teaching and learning resources helps academic staff to incorporate fresh ideas into their teaching, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment. We also provide robust support for integrating technology into teaching, including the use of learning management systems and online resources.
Student Success
The TLC is dedicated to student success, offering sessions on academic skills that help students develop effective learning strategies, study skills, and academic writing. Our comprehensive support covers note-taking, summarizing information, academic referencing, essay and report writing, coursework support, seminar participation, presentation skills, and exam preparation.
Graduate Attributes
The TLC also focuses on developing students’ awareness and engagement with EUB’s Graduate Attributes. Through workshops and one-on-one support, we help students reflect on and develop the competencies needed for future employability.
