Staff Profile
Dr. La’aleh Al-Aali is an Associate Professor at Euro University of Bahrain and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy ( SFHEA). She merges extensive academic expertise with rich corporate experience across the FMCG, telecom, petrochemical and business consultancy sectors focusing on transformative learning and organizational change. With a strong commitment to quality and strategic initiatives, she has held leadership roles in driving university and training programs. Her research is published in high ranking journals in the areas of human resource development, entrepreneurship, sustainability , policy development and management. In her teaching, Dr. La’aleh emphasizes real world connections, fostering entrepreneurial mindsets and integrating innovation within academic programs. She is also a passionate advocate for community engagement supporting small medium enterprises ( SMEs) and start ups in Bahrain through workshops and consultancy.
Her credentials include a Bsc from the American University of Sharjah, Masters of Human Resource Management, from the University of Manchester (awarded through the prestigious Chevening Scholarship), and a Phd in Policy Development and Management from University of Manchester.
Research and Publications
Research interests of Dr. La’aleh Al-Aali are in the areas of human resource development, sustainability, nationalization capacity building, entrepreneurship, policy development and management.
