Dr. Ahmed Al Balooshi

Dr. Ahmed Al Balooshi is a distinguished figure in finance and auditing, known for his commitment to corporate governance and financial management. As a Chairman of the Investrade Company and CEO of Smarteam Consultancy, Ex. Undersecretary of the National Audit Office, and Ex. Chairman of the Bahrain Internal Auditors Association, he has led initiatives to improve governance standards and financial performance across sectors. Dr. Al Balooshi’s roles have included serving on Boards and Audit Committees for companies such as Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), Bahrain Telecommunications Company and Ibdar Bank. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Surrey, an MBA in Finance from the University of Bahrain, and a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Bahrain. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, recognised for his contributions to both public and private sector entities.
