The College of Law at the Euro University of Bahrain (EUB) delivers high-standard British legal education right in the heart of Manama. Through our strategic partnership with the prestigious University of London, the first to offer a degree in English law back in the 1890s, we deliver a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programme, which is internationally regarded as the “gold standard”. The programme is developed by academics from six of the most important law schools in England, namely Queen Mary University of London, The London School of Economics and Political Science, UCL, King’s College London, SOAS, and Birkbeck, known collectively as the Laws Consortium, and is taught at EUB by faculty members with international teaching experience.

How are the College’s programmes structured?

The LLB programme requires the completion of 12 modules, spread over three academic years. Each module is worth 30 credits (equivalent to 15 ECTS credits).

In the LLB programme, you will study a broad range of legal subjects, starting with the seven foundations of legal knowledge required for the academic stage of training if you are aiming to become a barrister: Contract Law, Criminal Law, Public Law, Tort Law, Property Law, Equity and Trusts, and European Union Law.
