Culture isn’t what we say. It’s what we do. It defines how we work — the behaviours, expectations and shared norms that shape what happens when no one is watching.

At EUB, culture isn’t abstract values. It lives in clear ways of working that give everyone — staff, students and partners — a common language for how we solve problems, make decisions and learn from failure.

Our Culture Code doesn’t stifle individuality. It provides clarity. It sets expectations. And it gives each of us the confidence to act with purpose.

We trust people to act.

We provide autonomy and expect initiative, ownership and good judgement in return. Progress doesn’t always need permission, and results matter more than the number of hours worked.

We speak the truth.

Silence slows us down. Candid voices — including challenge directed at leadership — are essential to learning. Psychological safety doesn’t mean avoiding disagreement; it means knowing disagreement is welcome.

We follow the evidence.

Data, reason and debate matter more than instinct or title. Decisions belong with those closest to the issue, and arguments should be won with substance, not status.

Perfection can paralyse. We prefer minimum viable plans, fast iterations and constant refinement. “Good enough” is not an excuse — it’s a discipline. Done well, it accelerates learning and builds momentum.
