On 25 November 2025, Euro University of Bahrain and the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute (JLSI) under the Ministry of Justice signed a first-of-its-kind Memorandum of Understanding in the presence of H.E. Mr Nawaf Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, and the senior leadership team at JLSI.

EUB attended the signing ceremony with a delegation led by the University President, Professor Andrew Nix. EUB senior leaders, including Dr Reem Al Buainain, Vice President for Academic and Research Affairs, Mr Salman Aljanahi, Chief Operating Officer, and Dr Maria Casoria, Dean of the College of Law, joined the President to witness this significant milestone for EUB and an important moment for legal education in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

As stated by President Nix, “This MoU is more than a formal agreement. It marks the beginning of a meaningful collaboration between higher education and the justice sector — one that will strengthen professional pathways, deepen legal capability and contribute to Bahrain’s long-term development in this critical field”.
