Raza Ul Mustafa is a Lecturer in Computing at Euro University of Bahrain. His research investigates scalable, lightweight, context-aware and privacy-preserving trust frameworks for dynamic IoT environments, with a particular focus on trust evaluation models for the Social Internet of Things (SIoT). His broader academic interests lie at the intersection of cybersecurity, trust modelling, machine learning and intelligent systems.

Raza Ul Mustafa brings a wealth of teaching experience from diverse educational contexts, including higher education institutions in the Republic of Ireland, the UK, and UAE. He has taught and coordinated modules in computer security, penetration testing, and secure software development across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He also leads training sessions in penetration testing and ethical hacking, blending theoretical insight with practical skills to prepare students for professional certifications and industry roles. He also has experience preparing students for professional certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, PenTest+, and Security+.

Mustafa’s teaching philosophy is rooted in inclusivity, clarity, and relevance. He leverages live demonstrations, flipped classroom models, and hands-on labs to enhance student engagement. Drawing on his background in both academia and industry, including prior roles as a web developer and lecturer in cyber security, he connects theory with practice to prepare students for global careers in cybersecurity. In addition to his classroom teaching, Mustafa actively supervises MSc research students, supports curriculum development, and contributes to academic boards and quality assurance activities. He is also a vocal advocate for digital literacy and has led institutional activities promoting cyber awareness and safe computing practices.
