And It&#8217;s Not Meant to Be"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeshighereducation.com\/opinion\/ai-risks-undermining-heart-higher-education?utm_source=chatgpt.com\">recent piece<\/a> in Times Higher Education raised a concern that deserves attention.<br><br>As AI becomes more common in universities, we risk something important. Not a loss of control or academic integrity\u2014but a loss of purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learning isn\u2019t supposed to be easy. At Euro University of Bahrain, we\u2019ve said from the start that students don\u2019t always want difficulty. But they often need it. Because real learning happens in the struggle. In the pause. In the moment something doesn\u2019t come easily, and you have to work it through.<br><br>That\u2019s how judgement is formed. That\u2019s how confidence grows.<br><br>AI can help. But if we use it to smooth over every challenge, we\u2019re not helping students learn. We\u2019re helping them avoid the very process that builds their understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Learning isn&#8217;t simply finding the answer.
